there is a problem with the configuration of your iPhone. please restore with iTunes and reinstall iBooks

After upgrading iBooks I got this error today. I fixed it by downloading a free book.

    I had the exact same problem, and strangely your suggestion (the free book) worked for me too! Very weird...... but thanks anyway :-)

    I tried downloading a free book, the free book works; however, my paid book still isn't working and is giving me that darn error -_-;

    Hmm, I just fixed it by opening a free book that I'd already downloaded. Weird..!
